Full Time Teachers
Providence Christian School is now accepting applications for full-time teaching positions for our grade 1 - 12 classes.
We particularly need to fill the following upcoming vacancies:
- A high-school teacher who is skilled at teaching Bible Studies and Social Studies.
- A high-school teacher who can give part-time administrative support to the principal,
- A high-school Math/Sciences teacher,
- A junior high-school generalist teacher
- A part-time woodworking shop teacher
- A Grade 1 teacher
Suitable candidates are encouraged to electronically submit
- a cover letter of application,
- a résumé containing at least three references,
- a statement of faith,
- a statement of philosophy of Christian Teaching.
We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who have a passion for Christian education. We encourage applications by qualified teachers who submit to God’s Holy Word as it is most clearly and consistently interpreted in the Reformed confessions, and who are committed to educating children and youth for the formation of a distinct Christian worldview.

Substitute Teachers
PCS requires substitute teachers for the current and coming school year.
Substitute teachers must be grounded in the traditions and practices of the Reformed Christian schools and have an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
Employment is contingent upon the provision of a clear Criminal Record Check.

Educational Assistants
Providence Christian School is looking for full-time or part-time Educational Assistants in the following areas:
• Student-specific support in upper elementary
• General support in lower elementary
• General support in Grades 3-11
We encourage applications from qualified educational assistants who are committed to working with children and youth in the Reformed Christian community and who submit to God’s Holy Word as it is most clearly and consistently interpreted in the Reformed confessions.
A certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, or a similar program, will be an asset.

Building Custodian
PCS is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Custodian.
The successful applicant will be the head custodian and responsible for the majority of the school cleaning.
The work would be approximately 30 hours per week.
